OUR PICK YOUR OWN CHERRY EVENT ENDS 4.30PM SUNDAY JULY 30TH AS THE CROP WILL BE PICKED OUT 

This season we are offering our cherry orchard at CO3 0NN to customers for PYO. The cherry season is very short and currently we believe fruit will be ready for picking between 10 July and 30 July – so you snooze you lose!! 

 

We have 3 varieties, Kordia, Karina and Regina, all under rain covers. These are of an ingenious design which keeps the fruit dry (to prevent splitting) by guiding any rainwater to the middle of the alleyway. Picking is therefore possible during showery weather, but we would not advise to attempt picking if heavy rain is forecast. 

 

We have set up a booking system in order that customer numbers can be managed more accurately.  

 

The link for this is below. It costs £1.00 per ticket per person (non-refundable) to book a 1 hour time slot. Containers are available to buy on site (40p).

The cherry price per kg will be shown on the digitickets website, included on the answerphone message and at the orchard. The price at the start of the season will be £8/kg.
